About the Role


As Sales Director, you’ll lead the charge in expanding aKillion’s client base and driving adoption of our AI-powered platform within the marketing and advertising ecosystem. This role is ideal for a self-starter who knows how to open doors, manage long and complex sales cycles, and close high-value partnerships with confidence.

You’ll focus on identifying, engaging, and closing deals with large advertising agencies, publisher groups, and multi-location brands — organizations that are ready to evolve through AI-driven automation and intelligent customer engagement. This position demands both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a targeted B2B sales strategy focused on agencies, publishers, and enterprise-level retail or franchise clients.

Source, qualify, and manage your own pipeline — from prospecting through closing.

Lead discovery and demo sessions that translate complex AI technology into clear business value.

Build trusted relationships with senior executives, decision-makers, and influencers across client organizations.

Collaborate with product and marketing teams to tailor presentations, proposals, and proof-of-concept demos for high-value opportunities.

Negotiate contracts and pricing models that align with client goals and aKillion’s growth strategy.

Provide structured feedback from the field to inform go-to-market strategy, messaging, and product development.

Represent aKillion at industry events, webinars, and client meetings as a thought leader in AI and marketing technology.

We’re looking for a high-performing sales professional who thrives in complex B2B environments and understands how to position technology solutions that transform how businesses operate.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in a marketing, software, or SaaS vertical.

  • A proven track record of selling high-value, complex solutions to sophisticated buyers such as large agencies, publishers, or multi-location enterprises.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, automation, or advertising technology ecosystems.

  • Demonstrated ability to self-source leads, manage full-cycle sales, and close large strategic deals.

  • Skilled in executive-level presentations, RFP processes, and ROI-driven solution selling.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills — able to simplify technical value for non-technical audiences.

  • Strategic mindset with strong organizational discipline and accountability.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, outbound sales tools, and data-driven sales reporting.

  • Bonus: Experience selling into franchise networks or retail-based organizations where multi-location dynamics matter.
