ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Front-End Software Developer to build the interfaces our clients and internal
teams rely on every day. You’ll turn designs and product requirements into fast, clean, reliable
user experiences — and you’ll be comfortable working inside a modern full-stack web codebase
rather than throwing work over a wall. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who
cares about how things look and feel, but who’s equally at home wiring up the data, APIs, and
cloud services behind the screen.
You’ll work closely with product, design, and the rest of engineering to ship features that make
our AI platform genuinely great to use. We care far more about strong fundamentals and the
ability to pick up new tools quickly than about any single framework on your résumé.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Build and maintain responsive, high-performance front-end interfaces within a modern server-rendered web application.
• Develop features end to end — from templating and JavaScript on the front end to the server-side language, routing, and data logic that powers them.
• Write clean, well-structured SQL and work with relational databases to serve the right data to the UI.
• Build against and integrate with cloud services (storage, managed databases, CDN, serverless functions, and related tooling) to ship scalable, reliable features.
• Translate designs and product requirements into pixel-accurate, accessible, cross-browser experiences.
• Collaborate through code review, version control, and CI/CD to keep the codebase healthy and shippable.
• Debug, optimize, and continuously improve performance across the stack.
• Partner with product and design to shape features, not just implement them
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Strong front-end fundamentals — expert-level HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus experience building modern, responsive UIs.
• Full-stack web experience — you’re productive in a server-side web framework andcomfortable across the full request lifecycle (templating, routing, controllers, and an ORM or data layer). Experience with an object-oriented language and MVC-style framework is exactly the kind of background we’re looking for.
• Solid SQL and database skills — you can write and optimize queries and design straightforward relational schemas across common database engines.
• Working knowledge of a major cloud platform — comfortable deploying to and building against shared cloud services such as object storage, managed databases, CDN, and serverless compute.
• Version control and collaboration — fluent with Git and comfortable in a code-review-
driven team.
• Attention to detail — you sweat the small stuff in the UI and you write code that’s easy for
the next person to read.
• A fast learner — you’re comfortable ramping on a new framework, language, or service
and being productive quickly.
• U.S. work authorization and the ability to work from our Jacksonville Beach, FL office on
an on-site or hybrid schedule
